Ingram (Imagination, Desrae - You Gotta Be) in
LA. After such a union the world would begin to
see the true inner musical light within Blackliquid.
His dj and production skills have been called
upon by many including Ziggy Marley, Mark "Blakkat'
Bell, Ashley Ingram, Colette, Stefanie Ridel.
The LA resident has performed the majority of
the top LA dj/club venues for the top LA promoters
as one of their resident djs including, LiquidButterfly,
Traffic Events (Spundae @ Circus Disco), The World
Party(Friday Night Phenomenon, Disko Kandi @ Club
702), Monday Social, Solid (Natural Rhythm @ Moonshadows)
Phocas.net, Mixology Inc, Shaboomamerica, among
others. BL has scored two independent films including
the suspenseful and funny Award-winning 'Greenbush'
by the talented Letitia Fox.
The 2006 Fox movie 'The Devil Wears Prada' also
features a Blackliquid remix. it appears on the
soundtrack album and is available on iTunes.
The development of a new UK based house music
label 'Baldeelox
Records' with friend Darren Holland in 2006
has been met with great sucess. One of those sucesses
has been the teaming up with the digital music
distribution and marketing giants 'MediaservicesNYC'
and New York House laebel 'Open Bar Music'.
With musical
roots stemming from West African soul and jazz,
the British underground club scene, the British
sound system culture and quality funk & soul
from the seventies and eighties, quality rock
and alternative from the 80's, his musical expression
is deep and diverse helping his audience get fully
emersed as they dive into the sound that is Blackliquid.
